How do I pick colors for my website?
Firstly, there is no wrong color as your web-sites primary color, you can choose hot pink if you like. However, some colors tend to hurt the eyes so if you choose something extravagant you must use is sparingly, more as an accent color.
Keep in mind when picking a color that they have meanings, so the color you choose should relate to what your website is about. For example if you are selling plants black would not be a good choose, you would want a shade of green. Being that green can represent nature where as black can symbolize evil…not good for trying to sell plants.
Red – Power, energy, passion, desire, speed, strength, power, heat, love, aggression, danger, fire, blood, war, violence, intensity, celebration, luck, stop or danger, Christmas and Valentine’s Day
